Book a whole delivery in by the unit, or by the 750 ml bottle or the litre, with quick +6 and +12 steps. Bottle stock reads in litres and millilitres, spirits count down by the shot, wine by the glass, and you get told when it's time to reorder.

Shifts & PINs
Staff start a shift with their own PIN, and several people can be on shift at once. Tap a name to take the till, and Log out ends just that person's shift. Every sale, void and refund is linked to who did it, and manager-only actions need the manager PIN.
Receipts & cash drawer
Prints to standard 80 mm thermal receipt printers and opens the cash drawer.
Floor ordering pad
Staff on shift tap their name on a phone or tablet over the shop Wi-Fi, take orders, and they go straight to the till. Switch hands or log out from the pad. See it in action
Your brand
Your venue name and logo on screen and on every receipt.
Your data stays local
Sales are stored on your computer, not someone else's server, with automatic backups.
Auto favourites
Best sellers join Favourites on their own once they've sold enough. You pick how many sales.
UK & SA starter menus
Start from a ready-made UK or South African drinks menu, then edit prices, items and categories.
Any card machine
Pick yours from a list grouped by region, such as SumUp, Zettle, Square, Dojo, Verifone or Clover. Take the payment on the machine as usual and confirm it on the till. No need to change provider.
Mixer prices
Charge a different price when a drink goes in as a mixer, set from the Mixers category. The till price stays as it is, and the floor pad uses the mixer price too.
Fits your screen
TillOwn opens full screen like a proper till, with no title bar in the way. It sizes itself to your screen, from a small touch screen to a big monitor.
Quiet-till timer
After 60, 90 or 180 seconds without a tap, the till asks who's serving next. Everyone stays on shift, and the tab and order stay open.
Stock by the litre
Bottle stock shows in litres and millilitres, such as 6 × 750 ml · 4.5 L. Wine comes off by the glass, spirits by the shot.
Floor ordering pad
Take orders at the table
Staff open the pad in the browser on a phone or tablet, on your shop Wi-Fi. There's nothing to install, and every order goes straight to the till.
Tap your name
Open or pick a tab
Add drinks. The ticket shows on the till
Screenshots use made-up demo data.
1
Tap your name
Only people already on shift are listed, so there's no PIN to type at the table. Switch hands or log out in one tap. After a quiet spell the pad goes back to Tap your name, using the same timer as the till.
2
Open a tab, add drinks
Type a table or name, or pick a tab that's already open. Search, or tap through Favourites and your categories. Wine asks for the glass size, and spirits offer a mixer.
3
Mixer prices apply
A mixer added from the pad is charged at your mixer price, exactly as it is on the till.
4
Straight to the till
Orders land on the tab at the till as soon as they're sent, and each drink is credited to the person whose name is on the pad, so it shows in their sales. Taking payment, discounts, voids and stock all stay on the till. If the Wi-Fi drops, an unsent order waits on the pad and goes through when it's back.
5
One pad per tab
A tab is held by the pad that's using it, so two people can't add to it at once. It turns view-only while the till is taking payment.
6
Your Wi-Fi only
Switch the pad on in Till settings, then scan the QR code with the phone or tablet camera, or type the address in. You can add it to the home screen. It only works on your venue's network, with an optional pad code.
Add more tills
Add a tablet as a second till
Busy night? Put an iPad or Android tablet at the other end of the bar as an extra till. It connects to your main till over the shop Wi-Fi, and both tills stay in step.
Coming soon The TillOwn app for iPad and Android tablets
A tablet till, connected to the main till. Same menu, same stock count.
Screenshot uses made-up demo data.
1
Turn it on
On your main till, the Mac or Windows PC, a manager turns on Allow second tills. It stays off until you switch it on.
2
Tap ADD TILL
The main till shows a QR code and a 6-digit code. On the tablet, open the TillOwn app, tap Connect to main till and scan it. No camera? Type the code in instead.
3
Same menu, same stock
Every till shares the same menu, prices, stock and open tabs, live. Sell a pint on the tablet and it comes off the same stock count as the main till.
4
One set of books
Receipts from every till run in one number sequence, and you cash up once, on the main till.
5
Add more, remove any
Add more than one tablet if you need to. Each one is listed on the main till, and you can remove any of them whenever you like.
6
No extra key
A connected tablet uses your main till's licence. The main till needs to be switched on, with the tablet on the same network, because tablets can't sell offline yet.
Floor ordering pad
For taking orders at the table
Staff open the pad in the browser on a phone or tablet, with nothing to install. Orders go onto a tab at the till, and payment, discounts and stock stay on the till. How the pad works
Add Till
For a second full till
An iPad or Android tablet running the TillOwn app (coming soon) becomes another till that sells and takes payment, sharing the main till's menu, stock and tabs.
The floor pad works just as it does today. Use the pad, tablet tills, or both.

FAQ
Questions, answered
How many computers can I use it on?
One licence activates TillOwn on one computer. Running a second Mac or PC as its own till? Buy one licence for it. A tablet connected with Add Till uses the main till's licence instead.
How do I move it to a new computer?
In TillOwn, open Settings and press Deactivate licence. Then install TillOwn on the new computer and enter the same key. You can do this whenever you change computers.
Do I get updates?
TillOwn is actively developed by ICAREngine. When a new version comes out, download it and install it. Your licence key and your sales data stay as they are. Questions about a release? Email [email protected].
Which card machines work?
Any. Pick yours from the list in settings (grouped by region, with SumUp, Zettle, Square, Dojo, Verifone, Clover and more) or choose Manual. Take the payment on the machine as usual and confirm it in TillOwn as a card sale. TillOwn doesn't take the payment itself, so you don't have to change provider.
Do staff need an app on their phones?
No. The floor pad is a web page that TillOwn serves from the till computer, so staff open it in the browser on a phone or tablet connected to your shop Wi-Fi. TillOwn needs to be running on the till, and the phone has to be on the same network. There is nothing to install on the phone.
Can I use an iPad or Android tablet as a second till?
Yes, with Add Till. The TillOwn app for iPad and Android tablets is coming soon. It isn't in the App Store or Google Play yet.
On your main till (Mac or Windows PC), a manager turns on Allow second tills and taps ADD TILL, which shows a QR code and a 6-digit code. On the tablet, tap Connect to main till and scan the code, or type it in. The tablet then shares the same menu, prices, stock and open tabs, so a sale on either till comes off the same stock count. Receipts run in one sequence, and you cash up once on the main till.
You can add more than one tablet and remove any of them later. A connected tablet uses the main till's licence. The main till needs to be switched on, with the tablet on the same network, because tablets can't sell offline yet.
Does the floor pad still work?
Yes, exactly as before. The floor pad is separate from Add Till. Staff open it in the browser on a phone or tablet on your shop Wi-Fi, take orders at the table, and the orders go onto a tab at the till. A tablet added with Add Till is a full second till instead. You can use the pad, tablet tills, or both.
Can more than one person use the till?
Yes. Each person starts a shift with their own PIN, and several people can be on shift at once. Tap a name to take the till, and Log out ends only that person's shift. Staff can also take orders from a phone on the shop Wi-Fi.
What size screen do I need?
TillOwn opens full screen and adjusts itself to your screen, from a small touch screen to a large monitor. A touch screen is recommended but not required.
Does it need the internet?
Only to activate, and for a quick licence check now and then. Selling works offline, and the till keeps running for 7 days without a connection.
Does it run on Windows and Mac?
Yes, both. TillOwn runs on Macs with Apple silicon or Intel running macOS 12 or later, and on 64-bit Windows 10 and 11. Your licence works on either, so you can choose when you download. On Windows you may see a one-time "unknown publisher" prompt: choose More info, then Run anyway. A touch screen is recommended but not required.
Is there really no monthly fee?
Yes. You pay £249 once and the software is yours.
Can I get a refund?
Payments and refunds are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our checkout provider. If something isn't right, email [email protected] with your order details and we'll help.
How do I get support?
Email [email protected]. You'll hear back from the people who make TillOwn.
