Every sale is linked to the person who served it. Pick a date range and see drinks, takings, tips and number of sales for each person, plus a simple line chart with their own colour.
Cash-up & reports
Count the drawer on screen and TillOwn tells you whether it balances. Net takings, VAT, cash and card, top sellers and stock used, all on one page, and the report can be emailed to you automatically.
Stock
Book a whole delivery in by the unit, or by the 750 ml bottle or the litre, with quick +6 and +12 steps. Bottle stock reads in litres and millilitres, spirits count down by the shot, wine by the glass, and you get told when it's time to reorder.
Your currency & VAT
Pounds, rand, euros or dollars, with your own VAT rate. Start from a UK or South African starter menu, then make it yours. Printer, cash drawer, card machine, floor pad and emailed reports are all set up from one screen.
Staff start a shift with their own PIN, and several people can be on shift at once. Tap a name to take the till, and Log out ends just that person's shift. Every sale, void and refund is linked to who did it, and manager-only actions need the manager PIN.

Start from a ready-made UK or South African drinks menu, then edit prices, items and categories.
Pick yours from a list grouped by region, such as SumUp, Zettle, Square, Dojo, Verifone or Clover. Take the payment on the machine as usual and confirm it on the till. No need to change provider.
Charge a different price when a drink goes in as a mixer, set from the Mixers category. The till price stays as it is, and the floor pad uses the mixer price too.
TillOwn opens full screen like a proper till, with no title bar in the way. It sizes itself to your screen, from a small touch screen to a big monitor.
After 60, 90 or 180 seconds without a tap, the till asks who's serving next. Everyone stays on shift, and the tab and order stay open.
Bottle stock shows in litres and millilitres, such as 6 × 750 ml · 4.5 L. Wine comes off by the glass, spirits by the shot.
Floor ordering pad
Staff open the pad in the browser on a phone or tablet, on your shop Wi-Fi. There's nothing to install, and every order goes straight to the till.

Only people already on shift are listed, so there's no PIN to type at the table. Switch hands or log out in one tap. After a quiet spell the pad goes back to Tap your name, using the same timer as the till.
Type a table or name, or pick a tab that's already open. Search, or tap through Favourites and your categories. Wine asks for the glass size, and spirits offer a mixer.
A mixer added from the pad is charged at your mixer price, exactly as it is on the till.
Orders land on the tab at the till as soon as they're sent, and each drink is credited to the person whose name is on the pad, so it shows in their sales. Taking payment, discounts, voids and stock all stay on the till. If the Wi-Fi drops, an unsent order waits on the pad and goes through when it's back.
A tab is held by the pad that's using it, so two people can't add to it at once. It turns view-only while the till is taking payment.
Switch the pad on in Till settings, then scan the QR code with the phone or tablet camera, or type the address in. You can add it to the home screen. It only works on your venue's network, with an optional pad code.

Busy night? Put an iPad or Android tablet at the other end of the bar as an extra till. It connects to your main till over the shop Wi-Fi, and both tills stay in step.

On your main till, the Mac or Windows PC, a manager turns on Allow second tills. It stays off until you switch it on.
The main till shows a QR code and a 6-digit code. On the tablet, open the TillOwn app, tap Connect to main till and scan it. No camera? Type the code in instead.
Every till shares the same menu, prices, stock and open tabs, live. Sell a pint on the tablet and it comes off the same stock count as the main till.

FAQ
One licence activates TillOwn on one computer. Running a second Mac or PC as its own till? Buy one licence for it. A tablet connected with Add Till uses the main till's licence instead.
In TillOwn, open Settings and press Deactivate licence. Then install TillOwn on the new computer and enter the same key. You can do this whenever you change computers.
TillOwn is actively developed by ICAREngine. When a new version comes out, download it and install it. Your licence key and your sales data stay as they are. Questions about a release? Email [email protected].
Any. Pick yours from the list in settings (grouped by region, with SumUp, Zettle, Square, Dojo, Verifone, Clover and more) or choose Manual. Take the payment on the machine as usual and confirm it in TillOwn as a card sale. TillOwn doesn't take the payment itself, so you don't have to change provider.
No. The floor pad is a web page that TillOwn serves from the till computer, so staff open it in the browser on a phone or tablet connected to your shop Wi-Fi. TillOwn needs to be running on the till, and the phone has to be on the same network. There is nothing to install on the phone.
Yes, with Add Till. The TillOwn app for iPad and Android tablets is coming soon. It isn't in the App Store or Google Play yet.

Yes, both. TillOwn runs on Macs with Apple silicon or Intel running macOS 12 or later, and on 64-bit Windows 10 and 11. Your licence works on either, so you can choose when you download. On Windows you may see a one-time "unknown publisher" prompt: choose More info, then Run anyway. A touch screen is recommended but not required.
